For numerous years I've been painting creatures from the inside of a Dyson Sphere, a biosphere with a billion times the inhabitable area of Earth. There, evolution has run amok. Totally alien beings exist alongside derived beings from Earth and other worlds; parallel lines of evolution that have long since expired back home. Who built this place? Who imported its first inhabitants? What purpose does it serve? I don't care. The life around me is wonderful, and that is all that matters.

This project was a relieving exercise in pure, no-holds-barred creature design. I could do anything, without having to explain why. This is not to say that I've been inconsiderate about the biology. Each one of the following beings constitutes a working bodyplan based on biological facts, to the best of my knowledge.

If you are interested in any of these concepts, or developing new forms for your projects, contact me.
