This is an attempt to visualize life in my city by using events and time instead of streets and buildings to draw maps. I began by producing a "blank" map of the Pera/Cihangir districts, two hotspots of social and cultural activity in Constantninople. The names of prominent cafes, bars and clubs were added, (I strongly recommend them if you ever come this way,) along with colour-coded keys that show the time. This made it possible to trace the actions of individual people in nights out at the City, and manufacture some imaginary experiences as well.

In the future, I may do more Social Maps for other cities as well.
