This is actually a reworking of the seven separate pieces I'd done earlier for an abortive exhibition project. I gave the "sinners" a pale white color to signify their pure state, while the "provocateurs" who always emanate from their bodies are glowing red with evil. The seven cornered star frames them nicely, inset with the inverted pentagram of you-know-who. Aside from that, I tried to use as little symbolism as possible.
